GREER PARK REDEVELOPMENT

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state the same.
This project involves the realigning of a portion of Foxes Run, lowering of the connected pond to facilitate the removal of an existing dam, and the installation of a walking path and boardwalk along with other associated improvements. The 2.0-acre project site area is located within the limits of Greer Park (Winding Way Park), north of Winding Way in Newtown Township.
All bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 10 AM at the project site to inspect the site conditions. Meet at the Greer Park parking lot along Winding Way.
This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of Newtown Township.
