Inspection and Testing of Switchgear Systems and Ancillary Equipment

The NYS Office of Mental Health and Kingsboro Psychiatric Center are seeking to procure, through an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Contractor to provide Inspection and Testing of Switchgear Systems and Ancillary Equipment at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center located at 681 Clarkson Ave, Brooklyn NY 11203.

The Program Work Plan with Preventative Maintenance Tasks, Equipment List, Schedule Matrix, etc. is located in Appendix D of the Contract Boilerplate. Interested Vendors should review the Contract Boilerplate and IFB document for further information. Included with these documents is a Bid Quote Sheet in Excel format that should be used to submit your bid.

A Mandatory site visit will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST. Interested bidders are to sign in at the main entrance. Site visit registration can be accomplished by completing and sending the Site Visit Registration Form (Attachment B of the IFB) no later than October 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST.

NOTE: There are three (3) transfer switches that are covered under the Facility Generator contract through September 30, 2026. The transfer switches will then begin coverage under this contract effective in Year 2 on October 1, 2026. They will not require PM service until Year 3.

Questions from bidders attending the site visit are to be submitted by Tuesday, October 22, by 3:00 PM EST per the instructions in the IFB. Questions and Answers will be sent to all bidders attending the site visit, as well as posted to this ad, on October 29, 2024.

Bids are due no later than 3:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
