Description: Binghamton University intends to procure a comprehensive service and support agreement for ZEISS Xradia Versa 6XX microscopes that are already owned by Binghamton University. The service agreement requires technical service representatives who receive comprehensive and on-going factory training and regular technical updates, as well has having direct access to original manufacturer’s parts to help maintain instruments in optimal condition. Technical service representatives will need to engage directly with the engineers that designed the instruments, to help resolve technical support needs. There are no additional bid documents. SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) {a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service.
