Project Description: The Division of Contracts and Procurement has received a request to purchase from a “sole source” vendor. If, for any reason, any party does not agree that this sole source purchase is applicable, please email the contact person for Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement Division prior to April 22nd, 1:00pm, Mountain Daylight Time.
4 County divisions currently use this software that was implemented in 2018. The implementation involved complex issues and required nearly a year to customize, configure and integrate replacing an in house workorder software (PWRK) that was on the mainframe. Replacing this currently used software would take significant time, effort, and leave the county without a workorder system to continue normal operations involving multiple divisions. Additionally, any integrations that use the data that would need to be rebuilt if move to a different vendor source adding additional time and cost.
