Description
The Piedmont Regional Library System seeks proposals from General Contractors to provide construction services for an addition to the Banks County Public Library. The project predominantly consists of the construction of a new 1,750 square foot addition which will house a community room and adjacent storage room, as well as minor updates to the existing building. The scope includes but is not limited to the following:
-- New addition construction
-- Adding guardrails to concrete patio area to the rear of entry lobby
-- Door, hardware, and signage updates for egress path from new community room to front doors
-- Updates to existing restrooms to bring them into ADA compliance, with potential updates to existing countertops, lavatories, and faucets
-- Potential updates to light fixtures in existing library building
