The Mecklenburg County Board of Supervisors is requesting bids from qualified firms for the remediation, abatement, and amelioration of hazardous materials at the former Park View High School. An Asbestos and a Lead Paint Inspection Report have beencompiled for this facility, and both can be found as an attachment to this bid package. The Asbestos report was initially conducted in May but was revised in July to confirm the amount of roof related asbestos, which is present only in one of the three buildings(the 1978 two-story technical building, which amounts to 9,130 square feet).
