Description
Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada (HICC) has a requirement for a Software as a Service backup solution. The solution must be available from the PSPC cloud brokering portal. This solution must be capable of:
- Backing up Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365 (M365) data which includes:
o Microsoft Exchange
o Microsoft OneDrive
o Microsoft SharePoint
o Microsoft Teams
o Microsoft Groups
- Backing up Azure resources including:
o Windows Virtual Machines
o Linux Virtual Machines
o SQL Sever Databases
o Azure Storage Accounts
- Capable of creating snapshots and instantly restoring them to any point in time based on retention policy.
- Must offer effective indexing of backups that make it easy to locate specific backups for granular point in time restores.
- The solution must offer options for the restore locations of M365 and Azure resource:
o Original location
o Alternate location
- The solution must be able to restore multiple objects at a time.
- Data integrity must be guaranteed through an immutable service that ensures that data in transit and data at rest cannot be changed.
- Must protect HICC from the threats of malware and ransomware through snapshots, backups, and detection.
- Solution must be able to process and store data classified as Protected B.
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
