INVITATION TO BID
General Notice
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the
following Project pursuant to O.C.G.A. §36-91-20:
Beaver Ruin Diversion Pump System Grinders Replacements
GCDWR Project No.: #M00748.67
This Project includes the following Work:
1) Replacement and installation of the three (3) existing grinder units with new rail systems,
channel modifications, and control panels.
2) Replacement and installation of the three (3) existing influent slide gates with actuators.
3) Replacement and installation of the three (3) existing effluent slide gates.
4) Replacement and installation of the two (2) existing influent wet well slide gates.
5) Replacement and installation of one (1) existing wet well crossover slide gate.
6) Raising of concrete wet well baffle wall and platform elevations.
7) Relocation and re-installation of existing flushing system.
8) Installation of electrical conduit and designed routing with MCC configuration.
The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation within 450 days after the date when
the Contract Times commence to run as provided in the General Conditions. The Project is to be
completed and eligible for final payment 30 days after the date for Substantial Completion.
All competitive, sealed bidding shall conform to O.C.G.A. §36-91-2, -20 to -22.

Pre-bid Date and Location:
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project is scheduled for 10:00 AM local time on September
1st, 2026 onsite at the Beaver Ruin Diversion Pump Station (3530 Cruse Rd NW, Lawrenceville, GA
30044). All visitors are required to bring Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for the site visit. PPE
includes but is not limited to ANSI Class 2 or 3 safety vests, Class E hard hats, ANSI approved eye
protection, safety toe boots and hearing protection where required. All interested parties are urged to
attend. The Pre-bid conference is to be utilized by contractors and subcontractors to ask any questions
in order to submit a bid for this project.
Instructions on Submitting Questions:
Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Anna West at Anna.West@GwinnettCounty.com no
later than 3:00 P.M. local time on September, 8th, 2026. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder
when submitted.

Delivery of Bids
Sealed Bids must be delivered to Owner as specified in Section 00 21 13 “Instructions to Bidders” no
later than 2:50 P.M. local time on September 23, 2026 to be accepted.
