NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Quotes will be received for the Contract FRx DEFIBRILLATOR AND ACCESSORIES 26-060-SHF on or before June 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Solicitation documents, including specifications, may be obtained by email at henry.kocker@dupagecounty.gov . All Quotes must be received prior to the date and time shown above.


Electronic signatures are allowed, and Quotes do not have to be notarized. The County accepts no responsibility for transmission failures or content omissions. Quotes transmitted in person, by mail or by facsimile ("Fax") will not be accepted.

STATEMENT OF WORK

DuPage County (“County”) Sheriff Department is seeking bidders to provide FRx Automated External Defibrillators (“AED”) unit along with accessories including but not limited to adult pads, pediatric capability, long‑life battery, carry case, and first responder kit as listed below. Equipment shall be original, unused, and accompanied by all documentation, and ensuring devices pass initial inspection and self‑tests upon receipt.

Bidders shall provide products as follow:

  • FRx with Standard Carry Case, includes the following:
  • FRx Defibrillator
  • 1 pre-installed Battery
  • 1 set pre-installed SMART Pads II
  • Cartridge
  • User-selected Carry Case
  • Quick Set-up Guide
  • Maintenance Booklet
  • Quick Reference Guide
  • Owner’s Manual
  • 8-year warranty for AED
  • 4-year warranty for Battery
  • Pads are warranted until expiration date
  • Other accessories include 1-year warranty
  • FRx SMART Pads II, 1-set
  • HS1 Battery for Onsite/FRx/Home HeartStart Defibrillator
  • AED Inspection/Maintenance Tag
  • AED Key Chain Pocket Mask Red Logo

Awarded bidder shall provide training services, and maintenance and support resources to ensure long‑term readiness.
