| Synopsis |
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide Professional Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for the construction of three (3) new Fire Station facilities: Fire Station No. 78, Fire Station No. 67, and Fire Station No. 77.
Services will include design-phase constructability reviews, construction contract administration, construction inspection, materials sampling and testing coordination, building permit and regulatory coordination, commissioning oversight, schedule and payment review, documentation, and warranty-phase services necessary to support successful delivery of these vertical, life-safety public facilities. Fire Stations 67 and 78 will be delivered using a Design-Build method. The delivery method for Fire Station 77 is to be determined. The selected Consultant shall provide qualified personnel with experience in vertical construction and life-safety systems to ensure the projects are delivered in accordance with contract documents, applicable codes, and City standards. |
