Project Description: The State of Hawaiʻi, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, Maui District is seeking to purchase one (1) commercial-grade, gas-powered, tow-behind debris blower. The unit will be used for routine maintenance operations including the removal of sand, leaves, and debris from parking areas, roadways, walkways, beach access routes, and park facilities. Equipment must be heavy-duty, trailer-mounted, and suitable for continuous use in coastal and upland environments. Offered equipment must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:

Commercial-grade, gas-powered engine

Trailer-mounted, tow-behind design

Minimum engine size: 23 HP or greater

Air velocity sufficient for moving wet leaves, sand, and general debris

Adjustable directional discharge chute or nozzle

Heavy-duty steel housing

DOT-compliant trailer with safety chains

Standard 2-inch ball hitch

Pneumatic tires suitable for paved and unpaved surfaces

Electric or recoil start

Designed for municipal, park, or grounds maintenance use

Unit shall be new and unused

Manufacturer warranty included

Equivalent models such as Billy Goat, Little Wonder, Hurricane, Buffalo Turbine, or approved equal will be accepted.
