Architectural and Engineering Services - Northville Elementary School RFP

The Town of New Milford (Town) seeks the services of a professional architectual and engineering firm, licensed in the State of Connecticut, with pre-design assessment, architectural and engineering design, and comprehensive Connecticut DAS grant assistance experience, to provide professional architectural and engineering services for all phases of the Northville Elementary School roof and exterior wall replacement project.

This project consists of a comprehensive exterior renovation for Northville Elementary School, specifically focusing on a full roof replacement and the replacement of all exterior wall panels. The scope of work is designed to improve the building’s thermal performance and structural longevity, including the installation of new insulation, air and water barriers, drainage systems, flashing, and updated fall protection. A thorough structural review will be conducted to support these upgrades and ensure all associated components meet current standards.

The project is structured to progress through six critical phases: beginning with a thorough Assessment, moving into Design (scheduled to start in February 2026), followed by the State Grant Process, Bidding, and Construction (slated for June 2026), before concluding with the final Close-Out.
