Description
The Town is seeking proposals from experienced Fire Engine suppliers to Supply and deliver a purpose-built Fire Engine. The engine will be added to the Town of Coaldale’s existing fleet, replacing one of Coaldale’s two current engines. This engine will also replace Coaldale’s current rescue truck and serve both as the frontline engine and rescue. Coaldale & District Emergency Services responds to roughly 650 incidents annually. The fire engine is expected to:
• be versatile (meet the level of service);
• require minimal special training;
• meet stringent safety standards;
• be easily serviced;
• be durable;
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/12/20.
