Description

This is a Request for Proposal for new, unused tires and related tire replacement services for Government vehicles and trailers identified by FEMA MERS Bothell. Services may be performed at the Contractor’s location or at the FEMA location, as coordinated with the Government.



The Contractor shall:




  1. Be located within 30 miles of the FEMA MERS Bothell office.

  2. Provide new commercial truck and trailer tires in the required sizes, load ranges, and quantities.

  3. Remove existing tires from designated vehicles and trailers.

  4. Mount and install new tires.

  5. Spin balance tires where required.

  6. Provide and install new metal valve stems where required.

  7. Provide all labor necessary for tire replacement services.

  8. Dispose of removed tires in accordance with applicable Federal, state, and local requirements.

  9. Coordinate all work with the Government Point of Contact.



The Contractor shall not provide used, retreaded, recapped, regrooved, blemished, or previously mounted tires unless specifically authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer.



See attached Statement of Work for additional details. The proposals will be evaluated based on lowest priced technically acceptable in accordance with the Statement of Work.
