REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) RFP- CDBG Grant Writer

Claremont, NH -Requests written proposals from qualified firms or individuals interested in being considered for hire to write a Community Development Block Grant Application. The selected firm or individual may be requested to submit a quote for grant administrator services for this project, as well, upon CDBG funding award. Specific grant writing services to include assisting the City with the required public hearing, compiling all forms and information required by the application, coordinating all information required and all actions required to prepare a CDBG application on NHCDFA’s Grant Management System (GMS) for the City.

A proposed application to the Community Development Finance Authority for up to $750,000 in CDBG Public Facility and/or Housing Funds, the majority of which, to be subgranted to Claremont Learning Partnership towards the acquisition and rehabilitation of 143-147 Main St, Claremont. CLP will use the building for transitional supportive housing for youth exiting homelessness through the Oasis Teen Shelter program. The seven-unit property will provide affordable housing and supportive services for low- to moderate-income youth as they work toward stability and independent living.

CDBG Applications are due no later than July 27, 2026.

Community Development Block Grants from the NH Community Development Finance Authority are under the provisions, and subject to the requirements, of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. Selection will be based primarily on previous grant writing experience and knowledge of CDBG.
