RFWQ 2026-19 WAKULLA COUNTY COURT HOUSE JANITORIAL SERVICE

Information for Vendor:
Quotes must be on company letterhead with the date and signature of an authorized representative of
the vendor. All vendors providing written quotes must have the required expertise and capability to
perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment. Consideration will be given to the vendor
who has the capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment, consideration shall
also be given to the vendor's geographic proximity to Wakulla County for future ease of delivery,
mobilization, or customer support after a purchase. The lowest cost, responsible and responsive vendor
who is capable of performing the services or supplying the commodities or equipment shall be awarded
the contract.
Purpose:
The Board of County Commissioners is seeking written quotes from licensed contractors within the State
of Florida to provide routine janitorial services at the Wakulla County Courthouse located at 3056
Crawfordville Hwy, Crawfordville, FL 32327. Services shall be performed during the courthouse's
authorized operating hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, as detailed in the Scope of
Services below.
Scope of Service to be Provided:
RESTROOMS
Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, and accessible restroom fixtures; spot-clean
partitions as needed; empty restroom trash; and restock County-provided toilet tissue, paper towels,
and hand soap.
TRASH & COMMON AREAS
Empty routine trash receptacles in accessible offices, court-related areas, corridors, break areas, and
common spaces; replace liners as needed; and transport collected trash to the designated disposal
location.
FLOORS
Vacuum carpeted areas as needed and sweep/mop routine hard-surface flooring. will use the janitorial
equipment maintained at the facility.
OFFICES & ACCESSIBLE WORK AREAS
Perform routine maintenance cleaning of accessible office and work areas, including dusting/wiping
readily accessible horizontal surfaces as appropriate to the agreed maintenance scope.

BREAK AREAS
Routine cleaning of accessible counters, sinks, tables, and exterior appliance surfaces as applicable.
TOUCHPOINTS
Routine cleaning of commonly touched accessible surfaces where appropriate during service.
CHEMICAL STANDARD
Vendor will provide, manage, dilute, label, and replenish the commercial cleaning chemicals used by
employees at the facility. This standard allows vendors to control product selection, train employees on
a consistent chemical system, verify that appropriate products are available for scheduled service, and
avoid interruptions caused by missing or incompatible cleaning products.
SCHEDULING, SECURITY & ACCESS
Routine janitorial service will be performed during the courthouse's authorized operating window of
8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Personnel will comply with courthouse security procedures
and reasonable access requirements.
Cleaning will be coordinated around court proceedings, occupied offices, restricted areas, and other
courthouse operations. If an area cannot be accessed during a scheduled visit because of court
proceedings, security restrictions, or County operations, vendors will address the area where access is
reasonably available within the contracted service schedule.
COUNTY-PROVIDED EQUIPMENT & CONSUMABLES
Wakulla County will provide and maintain the janitorial equipment currently available at the facility,
including vacuums, mop buckets/systems, janitorial carts, and other routine cleaning equipment.
Wakulla County will provide facility consumables, including toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, and
similar disposable restroom/building supplies. County-provided consumables will be available onsite for
personnel to restock.
NOT INCLUDED IN ROUTINE MONTHLY SERVICE
* Floor stripping, waxing, refinishing, or specialized floor restoration
* High dusting or detailed overhead cleaning
* Routine detailed baseboard or door-frame cleaning
* Post-construction cleaning or removal of construction residue
* Specialty restoration, exterior window cleaning, or other work outside the routine maintenance scope
unless separately authorized

Quotes may be hand-delivered to the Procurement office located at 3093 Crawfordville Hwy,
Crawfordville, Florida 32327, sent via express mail to the above-referenced address, or sent via email to
Procurement@mywakulla.com. Responses received after the above deadline will not be considered.

Warranty:
Upon award of the written quotation the vendor will be required to provide the necessary liability
insurance as per County requirements.
The following minimum levels of insurance required are as follows:
* Comprehensive Automobile Liability. Insurance with $1,000,000.00 combined single limit of liability
for bodily injuries, death and property damage resulting from any one occurrence, including all
owned, hired, and non-owned vehicles, as appropriate.
* Commercial General Liability. $1,000,000.00 combined single limit of liability for bodily injuries, death
and property damage, and personal injury resulting from any one occurrence.
* Umbrella (Excess) Liability Insurance. Umbrella Liability with limits of not less than $1,000,000.00,
exclusive of defense costs, to be in excess of all other coverages. Such coverage shall be at least as
broad as the primary coverages above, with any excess umbrella layers written on a strict following
form basis over the primary coverage. All such policies shall be endorsed to provide defense coverage
obligations.
* Professional Liability Insurance. $1,000,000.00 for design errors and omissions, exclusive of defense
costs. CONTRACTOR shall be required to provide continuing Professional Liability Insurance to cover
each project for a period of two (2) years after the project is completed.
* Workers' Compensation. The CONTRACTOR shall provide, pay for, and maintain workers'
compensation insurance on all employees, its agents or subcontractors as required by Florida Statutes
