The City of Foster City (the “City”) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to conduct an independent professional real estate economic market analysis. This analysis will assess market trends and cycles, demographic trends, supply and demand dynamics, economic indicators, evaluate future needs, and provide strong baseline data that will be used to inform actionable strategies to guide sustainable growth and economic development.

Schedule:

October 6, 2025: Deadline to submit questions by 5:00 PM to smangalam@fostercity.org .

October 20, 2025: Proposal due by 5:00 PM to smangalam@fostercity.org

Award of contract: November 17, 2025*

*Note that this schedule is preliminary. The schedule may be adjusted, as needed, by the City. The deadline for submitting proposals may be extended if the City does not receive adequate responses from qualified firms. Accordingly, the date for awarding the contract will change.
