Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City
Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 23, 2026, at 10:00 am local time for this project, at
which time bids will be opened and read.
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for
a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the
Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 am
local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility
(parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to
Security.
Project Scope: Heavy Cleaning, CCTV Inspection and Assessment of 1,750 LF of 24" Sanitary
Sewer Main in a City of Tuscaloosa easement through the Nucor Steel campus in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Generally, the pipeline cleaning is to between City of Tuscaloosa Manhole No. 9116
(downstream)_and City of Tuscaloosa Manhole No. 957 (upstream).
Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid
opening.
Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open
for public inspection at the office of Bryan Gurney, PE for the City of Tuscaloosa Water & Sewer
Department, located at 4010 Reese Phifer Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 and plans, specifications and
other elements of the contract documents may be obtained from the City of Tuscaloosa
Water & Sewer Department Bryan Gurney, PE, designated as the office of the awarding
authority for this purpose, located at 4010 Reese Phifer Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. The contact
