Historic Preservation Commission

TAKE NOTICE that on the 13th day of August 2026, the Millburn Township Historic Preservation Commission took the following actions:

1. Application No. 578. Adopted a resolution memorializing the approval for 12 Chestnut Place, Short Hills, by Yaming Pan and Guofeng Qi, to construct a second floor and rear house additions, and other associated exterior site improvements.

1. Application No. 607. Adopted a resolution memorializing the approval for 6 Stewart Road, Short Hills, by Anthony Sicoli, to construct house additions, a pool, along with other associated exterior improvements.
   
2. Application No. 642. Adopted a resolution memorializing the approval for 165 Hobart Avenue, Short Hills, by Vishal Ramani & Vijay Rathi, to construct an addition over existing split-level home, and other associated exterior site improvements.

1. Application No. 625. Adopted a resolution memorializing the denial for 62 Western Drive, Short Hills, by Nick & Rachel Garrett, to construct house additions, swimming pool, and other associated exterior site improvements.
   
2. Application No. 643. Carried the application for 11 Wyndham Road, Short Hills, by Balasubramanian Sivan, to construct house additions, demolish existing garage to construct 2-car garage, and other associated exterior site improvements.
   
3. Application No. 644. Carried the application for 80 Cedar Street, Millburn, by Julian Hoare, to construct a rear house addition, a garage/accessory building alteration, deck, patio, pool, and other associated exterior site improvements.
   
4. Application No. 632. Carried the application for 67 Montview Avenue, Millburn, by Back to Nature Home and Garden – Joshua Rodriguez, to construct a rear yard improvements, fencing, patios, walkways, outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, driveway, swimming pool, and other associated exterior site improvements.
   

The above-mentioned applications are carried to September 10, 2026, without further noticing, aside from Application No. 632, which is required to republish in the newspaper.
