Project Description: The Petersburg Borough Sewer Authority (PBSA – OWNER) will receive sealed bids for the Sewer Rehabilitation Project as defined in the Contract Documents and other associated parts of the work.
The General Construction Project is generally described as:
Investigating approximately 20,600 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch sanitary sewer using televising equipment as well as conducting smoke testing to identify any weak points or failures within the system. Once the testing is complete, the Authority will receive a report from the company doing the work. Depending on the results, the trenchless rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer mains in Petersburg can be performed. The intent of this project is to restore structural integrity, extend service life, and reduce infiltration and inflow (I/I) in the sanitary sewer system while also minimizing excavation and surface disruption.
