REQUEST FOR BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Ottawa County Commissioners, on behalf of the Ottawa
County Department of Job and Family Services, is soliciting competitive bids for provision of Non-
Emergency Demand/ Response Transportation. Agreement will operate April 1, 2026 through March
31, 2027, with the option to renew at the same terms and conditions for the period of April 1, 2027
through March 31, 2028. Bids will be subject to the Specifications and General Terms and
Conditions set forth by the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family Services, as contained in
the Request for Bids packet, which is available by contacting Mary Ann Cipiti, Ottawa County
Department of Job and Family Services, 419-707-8675 or by email at maryann.cipiti@jfs.ohio.gov.
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 307.87 this shall serve as notification that this notice
is available on Ottawa County’s internet web site on the world wide web by logging onto
www.co.ottawa.oh.us and going to the legal notices/bids link – click on main page to view the notice
in PDF format.
Competitive Bids will be delivered to the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family
Services, at 8043 West State Route 163, Suite 200, Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449, until 8:30 a.m.,
Friday, March 27, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:15 a.m., same date, in
The Quarries Conference Room at the same address. Consideration of award(s) will be based on
the lowest and best bid. All costs directly or indirectly related to this request will be the sole
responsibility of the applicant. This request does not constitute an offer. Acceptance of pricing
does not commit Ottawa County Department of Job and Family Services to award an agreement.
The Board reserves the right to amend Bid specifications up to three business days prior to the
scheduled Bid opening, reject any or all bids, and waive any irregularities and to award the
contract to the vendor or vendors with the lowest cost and best bids.
