Description:

The Town of Lexington is planning to replace existing and/or install new drainage pipe and storm drain structures for approximately 400 feet along Kwanzan Drive in Lexington SC. Pipe size is expected to range from 24 to 42-inch diameter and may be either specified HDPE or RCP depending on final design. Â The project is expected to include asphalt pavement repair and/or resurfacing of the roadway and/or driveways. While most of the work is anticipated to be located within existing road right of way, some work may require restoration of private property and/or drainage easements. The project is planned to be bid mid-September 2026 with a 15-day advertisement period and a project completion date of December 31, 2026. GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The purpose of this release is to advise qualified bidders of this upcoming opportunity to bid.

2. Interested parties should submit the Letter of Interest provided on page 4.

3. Submittal of a Letter of Interest is not a commitment to submit a bid nor does this exclude any other

qualified contractor from submitting a bid.

4. The bid time frame is planned to be 15 days maximum.

5. The project is anticipated to be completed within 60 days of NTP.

6. The Town of Lexington reserves the right to cancel solicitation, and to waive any technicality if deemed

to be in the best interest of the Town.
