INTRODUCTION
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.

SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE

SERVICE CONTRACT LABOR STANDARDS STATUTE APPLICABLE

DESCRIPTION
The US Geological Survey (USGS), Oregon Water Science Center (ORWSC), requiresthe services of pack animals and wrangler/s as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

RELEVANT INFORMATION
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115210 Support Activities for Animal Production, and associated size standard $11.0 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code W088 Lease or Rental of Equipment - Live Animals.

All services will be performed at the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness area.

Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors (see provision). This may include a work plan, company information, and experience of the wrangler/s.
