ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) Inland River Hopper Barge Converted to
a Flat Deck Barge, Multi-Modal Project No. PMM-26 (012), will be received by the Rosedale-
Bolivar County Port Commission at the office of The Port Commission located at 317 David
Work Drive, Rosedale, MS 38769 until 9.00 A.M., on August 7, 2026, and then at said place and
time publicly opened and read aloud.
Copies of the specifications may be obtained at the office of the Engineer, Eley-
McPherson Engineering, PA, 306 Third Street, Cleveland, MS 38732, Telephone 662-846-0180
or the Rosedale-Bolivar County Port Commission Office, 317 David Work Drive, Rosedale, MS
38769.
Bids may be submitted in person, by mail, or electronically. For delivery in person or by
mail, the Bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and plainly marked on the outside of the
envelope with the following: Bid for the Port of Rosedale, Inland River Hopper Barge Converted
to Deck Barge, to be opened on August 7, 2026 and addressed to , the Rosedale-Bolivar County
Port Commission P.O. Box 460, Rosedale, MS 38769 Attn: Robert Maxwell. In addition, the
envelope shall list the bidders Company Name and Company Address. The Owner and Engineer
assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope that is not properly
marked. For electronic delivery, Bids must be submitted at eleymcphersonplans.com. All
electronic Bids must be submitted in portable electronic format (PDF) and must contain the same
information, forms, and Bid Security as required for paper Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities and to reject any or all bids. Each
Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions
provided in the information for Bidders.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
