Description: The Town of Germantown (“Town”) is requesting bids for the re-roofing of The 1 st Reformed Sanctity Parsonage (the “1767 Parsonage”) building located at 52 Maple Avenue, Germantown, New York 12526 according to the specifications contained herein. The 1767 Parsonage is a municipally-owned Palatine vernacular structure listed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places. The 1767 Parsonage was built in phases between the 1760s and the early 1800s, and underwent a substantial restoration in the 1940s and 1950s. The Town of Germantown seeks proposals from qualified historic roofing contractors to replace the existing degraded cedar shake roof with a new standing seam metal roof.
