NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:

HVLS Fans for Rodda Center

TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

The work described herein and to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the plans and these specifications consist of furnishing and installation of HVLS fans including all incidentals.

Principal items of work in the project include:

• 4 Units High-Volume Low Speed Fans, CA-HVLS, Including Controller

Copies of plans, specifications and bid documents are on file in the office of the Township Engineer and will be furnished upon e-mailed request to purchasing@teanecknj.gov at no cost to the prospective bidders.

Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.
2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:
   “Bid for HVLS Fans for Rodda Center”
   
   All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.
3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all the above requirements.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location.

The work shall be completed within Forty-Five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.

“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.”

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal once opened, and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
