The City of Marshalltown, located in central Iowa, is a community of approximately 28,000 residents and 166 road miles, of which approximately 160 miles are various hard surface, paved sections. The City of Marshalltown desires to better utilize data collected through the partnership with the Iowa Pavement Management Program (IPMP) to develop data driven pavement maintenance and capital project investment decisions.

Qualifications:

We are seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants with expertise in pavement management consulting. We are looking for a consultant to partner with city staff to utilize data collected through the automated distress data collection that is conducted every four years to prioritize maintenance, preservation, rehabilitation, and replacement street projects to optimize long-term street infrastructure investments. City staff wish to continue and expand upon our partnership with the IPMP and dTIMS pavement management software currently in use.
