RECEIPT OF BIDS: Separate sealed bids for the construction of the above referenced project will be received by the Owner at their office, Monday, March 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM, local time at North Charleston Purchasing Department, 2500 City Hall Lane, 3rd Floor, Buist Conference Room, North Charleston, SC 29406 and at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work involves furnishing and installing 328 LF of 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe, 80 LF of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe, 80 LF of 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe, excavation of an existing drainage channel; installation of sanitary sewer conflict boxes; utility coordination; as well as installation of related structures, pavements and appurtenances as shown on the drawings and as specified.
DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE: Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by emailing documents-chs@davisfloyd.com. Hard copies of the plans and specs will also be available by a request in writing to Davis & Floyd Inc., 1940 Algonquin Road, Suite 301,

Charleston, South Carolina, 29405.
FEE: There is no fee for plans and specs that are obtained electronically by emailing documents-chs@davisfloyd.com. A non-refundable fee of $250.00 will be required for each hard copy set of Drawings and other Contract Documents taken.
NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Site (Easton Street) on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time.
SECURITY: Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, for an amount equal to not less than 5% of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment

Bond will be furnished. Checks, regardless of form, will not be accepted.
