Request for Subcontractor Prequalification for Sports Fields

REQUEST FOR SUBCONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION FOR
DON JULIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL & EDGEWOOD ACADEMY TRACK & FIELD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
The Project consists of Track and field improvements at Don Julian Elementary School and Edgewood Academy
Elementary School, Bid No. 25-26-001. The estimated construction duration is 275 calendar days.
Bassett Unified School District, on behalf of its general contractors (prime contractors), is requesting subcontractor
bids to general contractors for the Don Julian Elementary School & Edgewood Academy Track & Field
Improvements Project.
PREQUALIFICATION. All subcontractors that intend to bid to perform under the following license classification(s)
as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor are required to be prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10,
C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. THESE SUBCONTRACTORS MUST SUBMIT THEIR
PREQUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE ELECTRONICALLY TO THE DISTRICT VIA EMAIL TO
BRIANDA.RAMIREZ@BASSETTUSD.ORG AND ROBERT.SEGARRA@CUMMING-GROUP.COM ON OR BEFORE 2
P.M., April 28, 2026. The prequalification questionnaire with instructions is located at

This is the only prequalification questionnaire acceptable for this Project; other prequalification documents are
not sufficient for this Project. Subcontractors are encouraged to complete the prequalification process as soon as
possible to expedite the District's evaluation.
Subcontractors must coordinate with the following prequalified general contractors that they wish to be a
subcontractor to:

Each subcontractor is responsible to ensure that its subcontractor bid is received by all of the general contractors it

Contract Documents will be available for review beginning April 20, 2026.
Prequalification process questions should be directed to the District, not the general contractors.
