LEGAL NOTICE OF BID

WOODRIDGE BID 2026-09

The Village of Woodridge will be accepting sealed bids for the items listed below. Bids will be accepted at the

Woodridge Village Hall, Five Plaza Drive, Woodridge, until July 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (CST), at which time they

will be opened and publicly read aloud.

BID #2026-09: HOBSON ROAD BIKE PATH IMPROVEMENTS

Digital bidding documents are available via email request directed to Matt Pocius of the Village of Woodridge Public Works

Department at mpocius@woodridgeil.gov along with any questions with the bidding documents. The contractor must have

IDOT certifications of eligibility to obtain a set of plans.

Any request for information or questions pertaining to this bid, shall be emailed to Matt Pocius at MPocius@woodridgeil.gov

by 10:00 am CST, on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Any addenda issued for this bid will be provided by Thursday, July 2, 2026 by

4:00 pm and will be emailed out.

A Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid amount is required with the bid submittal and is to be in the form of a bid bond, certified

check or bank cashier’s check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the Village and pay for a satisfactory

performance bond and payment bond.

In accordance with the law and the provisions of 820ILCS 130/0.01 et seq., entitled "an Act regulating wages of laborers,

mechanics, and other workers employed in any public works by the state, county, city or any public body or any political

subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works”, not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all

laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract.

The Village of Woodridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept any bid which is

deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Woodridge.

The Village of Woodridge does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, treatment or
