Sealed Bids for the 2026 Sidewalk Improvement District Work project located in the City of Ithaca, New York will be received by the office of the City Controller at I 08 East Green Street, Ithaca, NY until March 16, 2026, at 2:00PM in the City Controller Office. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in person at a public bid opening.
The proposed project is to provide improvements to sidewalk segments and curb ramps throughout the City of Ithaca. The project will primarily include removal and replacement of existing sidewalk and curb ramps, and construction of new sidewalk and curb ramps. All sidewalks and curb ramps are within the City of lthaca right of way. This project is a Unit Price contract.
BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE, ENTITLED: 2026 Sidewalk Improvement District Work BID.
A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held on March 9, 2026, at I 08 East Green Street, Ithaca, NY at I 0:00AM in the City Hall Third Floor Conference Room.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of: Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. Bid deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned promptly upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder.
