NOTICE OF INTENT to Single Source disposable supplies for GlideScope Equipment.

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico intends to negotiate a single-source Blanket Purchase Agreement award with Verathon Medical, 20001 N Creek, Bothell WA 98011 for disposable supplies for GlideScope Equipment. The period of performance will be for one base year beginning on 12/01/24 to 11/31/25 with an option to exercise for 4 option years.

NAICS 339113 – Surgical Appliances and Supplies Manufacturer with a small business set aside standard of 750 employees applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b), purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold may be solicited from one source if it is determined that the circumstances of the contract deems only one source available.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.

Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 1:00 pm MDST on November 12, 2024.

A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
