System-Wide Hazardous Spill Response Services
Description:

The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is soliciting proposals to provide hazardous spill response services on an as-needed basis. The Authority plans to enter into agreements with several contractors in order to provide the required services at all five of its Hudson River crossings.

In addition to potential spills from vehicular accidents, the Authority has on-site above ground heating fuel and motor fuel storage facilities. NYSBA also plans to use the same service to handle disposal of our in-house hazardous waste from bridge maintenance activities.
