Snow Removal Services
Description:

Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH) is seeking a company to provide all necessary equipment, material, labor and services necessary for on-call snow removal service to include plowing, removal, salting or sanding as required on an as needed basis for two (2) locations: 1) Parking Garages/Pay Lots and 2) East Campus - Stony Brook University Hospital.

Qualifications :

  • Successful Bidder shall have appropriate and sufficient material, personnel, equipment and facilities and/or prompt access to these to quickly and efficiently perform all contract services to the satisfaction of the Hospital. Such facilities will be inspected by the Hospital.
  • At anytime during the contract period, the successful Bidder shall permit representatives from the Hospital to inspect successful Bidder's facilities during its normal working hours.
  • Equipment: Proof of ownership of all equipment identified in the proposal as well as proof of up-to-date registrations, inspections and road worthiness must be provided. Must be included with Bid.
  • Successful Bidder will be required to have sufficient backup equipment to perform this contract under any adverse or emergency conditions.
  • Successful Bidder must show proof of ownership of equipment.

Successful Bidder must be able to leave the specified equipment (50% of total compliment per lot) on Hospital grounds beginning no later then November 1st and throughout the snow season April 20th. Parking spaces will be provided by the Hospital.
