Synopsis:
|
|
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Chainsaw Safety Training, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A).
GOS is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all employees and endeavors to create and maintain such an environment in all work areas. The objective of the chainsaw safety training for the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport – Safety & Training Unit (Ministry) is to comply with the internal Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program and provincial OHS legislation.
Chainsaw safety training program will be to provide chainsaw operators with the skills and safe practices required for maintenance or construction operations. The training shall consist of a variety of training options from introductory level awareness (basic chainsaw safety) through advanced level training (tree felling) from a recognized certifying agency that facilitates industry best practice training courses.
