Medstead Central School – Gym Renovation

Emailed tenders for the renovation of the school’s gymnasium identified as Medstead Central School – Gym Renovation, located at 409 4th Street, Medstead, Saskatchewan will be received until 2:00 p.m. Saskatchewan Time, February 6, 2025, on behalf of Living Sky School Division 202. Opening of emailed bids will be closed to the public.

The work comprises of renovations to the school’s gymnasium. Work will include ACM abatement to the existing floor tiles, installation of new sports flooring, floor sockets for nets, new doors and frames, new basketball backstops, impact wall padding, and other minor treatments. The adjacent classroom areas will remain occupied based on the scheduled school year.

Tenders must be accompanied by the specified Bid Bond and Letter of Surety payable to Living Sky School Division 202 and Bid Enclosures as specified.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject tenders from parties without reasonable acquaintance with the class of work specified. Evidence of competency shall be provided if requested. These reservations shall apply equally to subcontractors.

A Mandatory Site Examination Meeting for General Contractors has been scheduled for January 23rd,
2025, at 11:00 am Local Time. The meeting will be held on site at Medstead Central School, 409 4th Street,
Medstead, SK. The meeting will commence at the front doors of the school.
