The Leavenworth Waterworks Board is requesting qualifications/proposals from consultants for engineering services relating to the design and construction of the South Treatment Plant Capacity Improvements Project.

The Project was selected by the Board from a Planning and Value Engineering Study completed by Black & Veatch Engineering in 2023 to address certain reliability issues. It will consist of the design and construction of the capacity expansion of an existing 6 MGD conventional lime-softening treatment plant with a single treatment train. Certain repairs/replacements and improvements to the existing train will be incorporated upon completion of the additions.
