Synopsis: Fort Benning Thermwood CNC Ultra 6 SuperControl upgrade Services requirement. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses or large business interest in the Greater Columbia, SC region. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.
The MICC-Fort Benning may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for “Fort Benning Thermwood CNC Ultra 6 SuperControl upgrade Services,” subject to availability of funds. The MICC- Fort Benning is seeking qualified, experienced and capable sources with certified and authorized technicians who possess the skills, training, and technical know-how of performing Fort Benning Thermwood CNC Ultra 6 Super Control Upgrade Services. It appears the utility software for this type of Thermwood CNC current Router MTR21033 is proprietary and written in a proprietary programming language, which leads to only one contractor, Thermwood Corporation, who is considered the only source who can meet the needs to upgrade the existing Thermwood CNC router. Full details are provided in the attached statement of work. The place of performance is the Fort Benning, Georgia 31905.
All interested concerns must be provided to this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a capability statement no later than 10:00am EST, 27 July 2026.
