Custom Microphone Mount

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division (Corona Division) is issuing this pre-solicitation to satisfy the requirements in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.204 and FAR 5.207.

Corona Division is seeking information from potential, responsible sources that have an interest and capability to provide custom machined microphone mounts in accordance with the attached Draft Purchase Description (PD).

It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement shall also include the following information:

(1) Company name, address, point of contact, and CAGE code.

(2) Business size for NAICS Code 332710 Machine Shops.

(3) Estimated unit price and lead time for market research purposes.

(4) Industry commentary on the current version of the PD.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the requirement of this notice are invited to submit a response by the response day/time identified in the SAM posting. All responses under this pre-solicitation notice must be emailed to Julia Hunt at julia.m.hunt3.civ@us.navy.mil.

The information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business, socioeconomic set-aside, competitive or non-competitive method is possible, and to determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government's requirement. All organizations with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice.
