Farming Lease on County-Owned Property on Baker Street

The Walton County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified individuals for the farming and agricultural use of approximately 40 acres of County-owned land located along Baker Street, Monroe, GA 30655, Walton County, Georgia.

The successful bidder will enter into a lease agreement for agricultural use of the property and will be required to maintain liability insurance in the amount of not less than $1,000,000 and list Walton County as an additional insured.

Sealed bids must be clearly marked “RFB# 2025-14 Farming Lease – Baker Street Property” and delivered or mailed to the Walton County Board of Commissioners, Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad St., Monroe, GA 30655 no later than 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2025. Late bids will not be accepted.

The Walton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the lease in the best interest of the County.
