QUARRY HILL FIRE FUEL REDUCTION PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of El Cerrito (City) seeks proposals from qualified contractors to remove and treat hazardous tre es and other vegetation in the Quarry Hill area within the Hillside Natural Area (HNA), as listed in the RFP. The scope of services includes the full removal and treatment with herbicide of the maximum number of all sizes of eucalyptus and pine tree stems in the approximately 13.6 acres of Quarry Hill. All contractors are required to attend a pre-proposal walk through on July 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (meet at 7550 Schmidt Lane, El Cerrito) to better understand the site conditions.
