Planning Services for the Development of a Regional Adv. Manufacturing Workforce Training Center Southern Tier New York – Hub Development Binghamton, New York

The Broome County Industrial Development Agency (The Agency) invites qualified firms (“Respondents”) to submit qualifications and proposals for planning services to support the development of a regional workforce training center (“Center”) for advanced manufacturing to serve the Southern Tier of New York, with an initial primary focus on the creation of a central hub in the Greater Binghamton, New York area.

The Center will serve as a hub for individuals; particularly those unemployed or underemployed, seeking to enter or progress in the advanced manufacturing workforce. Providing essential skills training and wraparound support services, the Center will operate on a network model, with a hub in Greater Binghamton . Phased-in network expansion will ensure a regional impact and are envisioned in Elmira, Ithaca, and the eastern portion of the Southern Tier region.
