SaaS SHORT-TERM RENTAL REGISTRATION PLATFORM – COOPERATIVE CONTRACT NEW YORK COUNTIES

.Introduction

Effective March 25, 2025, New York State requires hosts of short-term rentals to register their properties with the state or a municipal system. Booking platforms must collect and remit sales and occupancy taxes and submit quarterly reports to the state. To support compliance with this new law and enable counties to efficiently manage short-term rental registrations, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution is required.

This contract will provide county governments with access to a scalable, secure, and fully managed SaaS application for administering a short-term rental registry, with an option for other counties to piggyback on the agreement.
