PIP-II Cryogenic Distribution System - Distribution Valve Box

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) is soliciting proposals for the design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery of a Distribution Valve Box (DVB) in support of the Proton Improvement Plan II (PIP-II) project. PIP-II is an upgrade to FNAL’s accelerator complex that will provide the world’s most intense high-energy neutrino beam for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). The PIP-II accelerator (Linac) employs superconducting radio frequency technology across multiple cryomodules and relies on a Cryogenic Distribution System (CDS) for helium supply and return. The Distribution Valve Box serves as a key subsystem of the CDS, regulating and controlling helium flow within the PIP-II Linac.

October 29, 2025 - Edited SAM.GOV posting to the correct proposal due date from 12/21/25 to 11/21/25 in alignment with the RFP. All RFP Documents remain unchanged.

Amendment 1 - Extends the RFP Question Submission deadline from November 3, 2025 to November 5, 2025.

Amendment 2 - Extends the due date for proposals from November 21, 2025 to November 28, 2025. Amendment 2 also adds responses to questions submitted by potential offerors during the Question and Answer period.
