Interested sources shall provide a response detailing their capability to procure CWU-86/P and CWU-87/P dry suits for the USN bladder relief system. The dry suit is a critical item to aircrew safety and survivability and is the currently fielded system. The Government anticipates a need for approximately 20 dry suits in support of the bladder relief system testing this year. The Government requires that potential respondents have demonstrated experience in performing manufacturing or procuring the CWU-86/P and CWU-87/P Dry Suits.
Respondents should clearly detail how they would propose to manage the challenges associated with procuring CWU-86/P and CWU-87/P where the OEM (Switlik) retains full control of the technical data. Respondents should provide a brief description of their experience procuring similar types of equipment, including any relevant past performance data (if available). Respondents should also describe their ability to rapidly respond to urgent procurement requests. The Government anticipates a potential solicitation for these procurements in Fiscal Year 2026.
