Project Description: Bucks County Community College (BCCC), 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940, invites the submission of sealed bids for the Receiving Mailroom Renovation Project. All Bidding documents will be available at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net) on February 26, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.
Sealed bids must be received electronically via PennBid on or before 2:00 p.m., Prevailing Time, March 23, 2026. Bids received by any other means will not be considered.
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid site visit on March 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Receiving Mailroom Bucks County Community College (BCCC), 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Those contractors who do not attend the mandatory onsite meeting will be disqualified from the bid.
Each bidder must provide a ten percent (10%) Surety Bid Bond, subject to the General Stipulations' conditions. An Electronic Surety Bid Bond may be uploaded from an authorized agency recognized and allowed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and submitted with your response on PennBid, or a hand-delivered check to the College by Submission date and time will be allowed. Please place the check in a sealed envelope and do not include any other documents that must be submitted specifically via the PennBid portal.
The bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and Chapter 49, Title 16, of the Pennsylvania Code and any other regulations promulgated hereunder.
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall be cognizant of all laws, ordinances, insurance, bonds, regulations, prevailing wage rates, and underwriter approval and shall include a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the specification and pertinent documents.
PA State Prevailing wages are in effect for this project. Please use the provided prevailing wages report uploaded to the PennBid site for this project.
