Project Description: The Davis Technical College (DTC) is purchasing:
(4) HAAS Desktop CNC Lathe Units with independent HAAS Control Box
These units are intended to help students learn the basics of CNC control in a low cost real application device. These devices are to be mobile to allow for use in not only the classroom but be transported to other locations for both short-term training use and program recruiting events.
Bidders may propose an alternate that meets or exceeds the specifications and offerings of the requested equipment. The requested equipment is merely to demonstrate the desired features and aspects of the DTC.
If alternative equipment is offered, supplier must provide all specifications, literature, documentation and provide at least three references of current users of the proposed equipment or bid will be deemed non-responsive. Quote must clearly state it is an alternate and describe specifically how it differs from the item specified.
The DTC, in its sole discretion, will determine its ability to meet the College’s needs.
The DTC reserves the right to reject any offer.
