Summary

The City of Pasadena, Department of Public Works (Building Systems & Fleet Management Division) is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Odyssey AGM Batteries, Parts, Supplies & Accessories. The purpose of this solicitation is to ensure that the City is equipped with reliable, high-performance battery systems and related components necessary to support the maintenance, repair, and replacement of its fleet vehicles . The selected vendor will be expected to deliver high-quality products and/or services that comply with relevant industry standards and help the City effectively manage Fleet needs. Orders for parts are typically placed approximately three (3) times per month in various quantities. City reserves the right to change order/delivery frequency as needed at no additional cost. The contract term is for five (5) years.



Background

This City operates and manages approximately 1,100 vehicles in its Fleet. Pasadena’s Fleet Management team performs repair and maintenance services on City vehicles and equipment on a routine (planned) and emergency (unplanned) basis. In order to meet the City’s automotive demands, the City requires an outsourced qualified vendor to provide services/parts for fleet maintenance.
