SIDEWALK SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES 2025-2026
The Township of West Orange, New Jersey, County of Essex, is seeking companies to perform Snow Removal Services from Sidewalks, Paths, Crosswalk and Bus Shelters and Stops within the Township for 2025-2026. . Sealed bids will be received in the Council Chambers, Room 116, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey 07052 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. local prevailing time. Sealed bids may also be delivered to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 111, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey 07052, provided the bid is received prior to the day, date and time listed above. The submission deadline is October 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. and they will be publicly opened and read at that time in the Council Chambers on the same day. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate P.L. 2004. Each bidder shall provide a Certified Check or Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid but not to exceed $20,000 or be less than $500.00. Successful bidders upon the award of a contract will be required to submit a performance bond for 100% of the award amount. Bidders will also be required to complete and return other documents identified within the bid materials. Failure to comply with Instructions to bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of bid.
