Request for Qualifications / Bowan Thomas Park Outfall Replacement

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities (WSFCU) is interested in replacing sewer outfalls along both the Bowan Thomas Park and Brushy Fork Branch alignments. This project was identified in our 2025 Wastewater Collection System Master Plan, which indicated capacity constraints so upsizing will be required. The project will consist of replacement of approximately 9,710 linear feet of 12-inch, and 500 linear feet of 18-inch gravity sewer pipe, and the design should follow the existing alignments along Bowen Blvd and Brushy Fork Creek. The selected engineering firm will provide all designs and documents necessary for permitting, easement acquisition, construction, and bidding. The selected firm will also likely provide construction administration on the project. Â
